Background
As for The Grimoire I created this project for both learn and craft something useful. There is no doubt using only pen an paper (and maybe candles) create a better atmosphere but as Dungeon Master I'm not so good in improvisation, to overcome this difficult I use a lot of tools. And as for The Grimoire the tools, back in the days, were not really mature enough. There were plenty of character generator that create printable character sheets but the character generator wouldn't allow you to easily edit the values. My program was more a Master tool: track the changes of the players and calculate automatically the Hit Rating, Stat bonuses and so on.
The program was ready to work with any level range, even epic ones, for calculation of Bonus Attack Bonus.

In my twisted mind the program had to evolve in a complex tool with a big database of items, classes, bonuses and every possible helpful information of D&D. I was young.

I created a version of this program for GURPS 4E but after two days of coding I discovered the fantastic GCS. I dropped myfork.

Description
The main window, all the bonuses and statisctics are automatically calculated
In the main window I put every bonus and stat possible. There are the "side" information like sex, religion, races etc, which act more like a reminder: they don't affect anything in the program but are useful for the Dungeon Master during game session.
The other inputs affect the whole program: increasing or decreasing a statistic will change the Saving Throws or the Bonus Attack Base, the Armor Class and so on.

The Talent and Skill window is filled with information of the base skills of the game but it is possible to add and edit them.
The Skill and Feat window was already filled with the "standard" skills and feats (from Player Manual). It was possible to create new skill or feat on the fly but in the earlier version the new Feat provide no bonuses (the hard-coded feats, instead, will change the main window according to their bonuses).

The other tabs: "Attacks", "Equipment", "Inventory", "Spells" and "Background" were unimplemented. I had no time to continue developing this program because I was studying at the University (but I did NOT stop play RPGs).

Unfortunately I can't find the original source nor a working build right now. I will look for the original files in some of my old computers but I fear the worst.
